Angels Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

With the non-waiver trade deadline approaching Saturday, observers and analysts like to divide teams into one of two categories—buyers or sellers.

"I don't like labels," Angels general manager Tony Reagins said. "What I would say is we're going to look to improve. If we can, we will."

The Angels have been buyers, acquiring infielder Alberto Callaspo and right-hander Dan Haren last week. They were also willing to make a deal to "rent" a player to fill the void left behind by first baseman Kendry Morales' season-ending leg injury. A deal was reportedly in place for Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee before he used his veto power to block a trade to the Angels.

Circumstances have changed quickly, however.
